As Italian as my name sounds, I am as Scottish as they come (you should hear the state of me) And I can tell you right now living in Glasgow with an Italian name, does you NO favours! If people don’t assume that you speak the language, they just horribly mispronounce it or don’t even attempt to. I have learned to use friends names when ordering taxi’s or food as ‘Baliberi’ ‘Gutary’ or ‘Gwaltee’ is not the one. Plus a Scottish accent butchers the sensual language that was not meant for our lazy mouths. I’ve been bullied so much – I am know on air as ‘Dani Gee’.

I’m 25 and a massive radio geek! I’m currently freelance, and you will find me Freelancing at the BBC in Glasgow/ BBC River City studios in Dumbarton. I am really enjoying the writing process at the moment too, of which I am currently writing a SitCom. And of course I’m all about that online content on ‘the’ social media. Follow me!! @RadioDaniella
I’m an extremely creative mind so hopefully one day someone will see the ‘James Corden’ potential, which is funny isn’t it? Most girls my age want to be a glam Kardashian and I want to be like a middle aged fat man. (Ricky Gervais, Peter Kaye or Steve Carrell please.) But for now, online content will do, yes?
Luck is my currency
On here I’m hoping to show you an insight into my life as a lucky wee hen who manages to get in to situations that, maybe I shouldn’t! I like to live life as a ‘yes man’ and don’t think I ever say no when I’m invited out to a gig, meal or night on the town. Even if it means I’m poverty, I’m here to make memories not money!!
